Mag tracking and DIT reports.
Magdex keeps track of every camera and sound roll your unit shoots, read from Silverstack, with their mags and shuttle drives. At wrap, it prepares the DIT report and sends it from your own Gmail.
The first time you send a DIT report, Magdex asks Google for permission to send email from your Gmail. Magdex uses that permission only to send the DIT report you wrote, to the addresses you chose, when you press Send. Through that permission, Magdex never reads, stores or shares anything in your Gmail.
